We went on a walk the other day to find Mommy who was at the gym. It was a happy and sad experience for me. My oldest daughter rode her bike through daring obstacles steering past the most difficult of challenges. The middle one rode her tricycle the whole way racing and chasing people down with it. If that wasn't bad enough my youngest is starting to walk. Last week she walked to Daddy and back to Mommy, but couldn't be motivated by anything less than her parents. Now she has decided that this walking thing might be useful in more situations.
I'm turning 31 this month, boy am I old. It was just yesterday that we bought that bicycle with the training wheels for Christyn, and Holly could barely reach the pedals of her trike if I moved the seat all the way up. Pedaling was out of the question. And, Evie, well she shouldn't even be crawling yet if you ask me. My children are becoming independent. What's a dad to do.
